District Doughnut

Do you ever find donuts whispering your name? At any given point of the day, week, year? We certainly do. And yes, Dunkin’ Donuts may fill the void but it doesn’t hit the spot. Luckily, we found District Doughnut and it absolutely hits the spot.

But seriously, how good do these look?

The menu changes daily so all the more reason to visit every day.

So we eagerly waited in line, a perfect opportunity for a quick mirror selfie.

Mo opted for the Vanilla Bean and I went for the Dulce de Leche (obviously).

photo 3_Fotor Turns out my doughnut was stuffed. I couldn’t even wait to finish my bite I was so desperate to tell Mo how delicious it was.

If you are ever in the Capitol Hill, Eastern Market or Barracks Row area we certainly recommend a quick stop to the recently opened District Doughnut. You are guaranteed to have an amazing treat, and may even pick up a cute marine – but we can make no promises here.
