Capes and the Museum

Slowly but surely winter is creeping into the District and we have sadly had to move our adventures inside. Today we spent the afternoon frolicking through the National Portrait Gallery. I spent the majority of my time swinging in this adorable, cozy and affordable cape. It is perfect for tourist activities, and the billowing shape will hide any and all overindulgences from brunch.

Spinning around because I can and because I am wearing a cape.

This museum is one of our all time favorites mainly due to its proximity of so many great restaurants: Zaytinya, Oyamel, Zengo, and Nandos (our all-time favorite guilty pleasure). More to come on the National Portrait Gallery soon. A quick warning to all eager visitors – there are many, many stairs.
