Despite today’s 70-degree forecast, I can no longer deny that it is November and coat season is upon us. For the first time in…ever, I am actually excited.
I recently added this Everlane Swing Trench to my closet and couldn’t be happier with my purchase. Everlane is a fantastic company that I am so happy to support–more on them later this week. I can’t say enough good things about my new trench. I spend a lot of time outside for work so I needed something both warm and easy to move around in. I love the color because it is neutral enough to match a variety of outfits, but adds a little something extra to a simple black and white ensemble like this. The material is water resistant without looking like a raincoat, is lightweight, and still very structured. Obviously, I love the “swing” factor and find it pairs nicely with a slim-fitting pant. This weekend we had our first dose of seriously cold weather, and my swing trench was the perfect thing to keep me warm and comfortable while Kim and I spent time exploring in Logan Circle.

Lovely trench coat! Actually looking forward to the colder weather so that it’s boots, jackets and scarf weather!

Thanks Brittney! They definitely don’t skimp on the quality. Its durable and I feel safe from the elements (and all of my spills!) but it’s not at all plasticky or like a typical raincoat.
